Purposes, legal bases and retention periods

Each processing operation relies on an identified legal basis, and data is kept only for as long as the purpose requires:

• Answering a contact or information request — legal basis: your consent, given through the form’s tick box (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Retention: 3 years from the last contact where no follow-up occurs.
• Reviewing a project to open or develop a centre and corresponding with you — legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Retention: for the duration of the discussions, then 3 years from the last contact.
• Handling Censo Asso membership requests — legal basis: performance of the membership contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Retention: for the duration of the membership, then 3 years.
• Audience measurement and improvement of the website — legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Retention: 6 months for proof of consent, 13 months for the trackers and a maximum of 25 months for audience data.
